It was really nice to be asked to attend Hunday Manor’s celebratory charity dinner. It was to celebrate Joe Wilson’s 25 years as a hotel owner in Allerdale. The evening also included the official relaunch of the Hunday Manor Restaurant after a £40,000 refurbishment this autumn. Cumbria’s finest food & drink was served, from cocktails mixed with Lakeland gin & vodka on arrival to dishes featuring the pick of the county’s meat & fish, plus award-winning local cheeses & deserts. The proceeds from the evening went towards The Great North Air Ambulance.
