Thursday’s commercial photography at Westlakes Science Park went really well. The customer this time, the University of Manchester. The location, the prestigious Dalton Cumbrian Facility. It’s a building inspired by the local slate running under Cumbria. Working as the official Westlakes Science Park Photographer is great.

DALTON CUMBRIAN FACILITY
It was nice to be back on the ‘park’. The last time we were at the Dalton Cumbrian Facility was to present our successful ‘Improve Your Photography’ course. Wow, how time flies.
Westlakes Science & Technology Park
It’s situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Westlakes Science & Technology Park is near Moor Row close to the coastal town of Whitehaven. The Park encompasses 54Ha of landscaped grounds with 11 buildings offering 25,000m² of office, laboratory, research and teaching accommodation. Westlakes hosts over 70 organisations including the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority and a nationally significant cluster of businesses servicing the nuclear industry and Britains ‘Energy Coast’.
