It is always nice to regularly return to Malta especially for wedding photography. The weather is almost always guaranteed to be sunny and warm. There are some lovely hotels all over the island. These include Hilton, Westin Dragonara, Corinthia Palace, Grand Hotel Excelsior and Intercontinental to name but a few. Malta and Valletta is a fantastic wedding destination. There is the option of civil ceremonies and the option of some lovely churches. Vistas including the Upper Barrakka Gardens with views across the Grand Harbour. A popular location for wedding photographs.
Hilton Hotel
The Hilton is by the sea. It is ideal for wedding pictures indoors and out. Also has the added bonus of Portomaso marina next door. Portomaso is a luxurious marina surrounded by fabulous apartments and filled with luxury yachts. Opportunities for stunning wedding photographs abound.
Westin Dragonara
Westin Dragonara is by the sea as well and has a lovely staircase. Ideal for glamorous wedding photographs.
Corinthia Palace
Corinthia Palace is on the side of St.George’s bay. It has a lovely interior. Also comes with the added bonus of a fantastic seascape backdrop.
Intercontinental
The Intercontinental is also in St.George’s bay. It’s garden area is on the 7th floor with water falls and lovely gardens.
Grand Hotel Excelsior
The Grand Hotel Excelsior is the height of luxury with a fabulous setting by the waters edge in the shadow of Valletta.
