It was great to be back at The Crown Hotel in Wetheral. The occasion was Peter & Ela’s wedding. It was great fun. Friends and family of the happy couple came from all parts to help them celebrate their wedding day. Some of the guests travelled all the way from Australia.

NATURAL WEDDING PHOTOS

Ela’s brief was for natural wedding photos. That was easy because that’s our style. The wedding service took place in the huge sun room. A beautiful set up. The confetti pictures were loosely staged. Everyone got a handful of confetti ready for the bride & groom walking out. It worked like a dream.

CROWN HOTEL WETHERAL

The reception held in the function room next door. Everything was planned to ensure perfection. The frontage of the hotel and the gardens were looking really nice. Great for wedding photos.

Tucked away in the quiet and picturesque village of Wetheral, the Crown Hotel is a hidden gem. Beautifully appointed throughout. The hotel maintains a fresh, modern look that is sympathetic to the historic nature of the building. The whole place has a high class lovely feel to it.

Mr Hicks and his team do a fabulous job of making sure everything runs like clockwork. It was great to be the official photographers for Peter & Ela. We highly recommend that you add the Crown Hotel, Wetheral, to your shortlist of lovely wedding venues in the north of Cumbria.
