One of the best hotels in the Lake District is the Armathwaite Hall which is a magnificent wedding venue. Set in mature gardens and 400 acres of park land this historic property dates back to circa 1500. It is one of the original stately homes of England.

Armathwaite Hall Country House was the natural choice for Andrew & Kate’s big wedding day in the lake district. Family and friends came from all over the country to help celebrate with the happy couple.

It was our pleasure to be Andrew & Kate’s official wedding photographers at The Armathwaite Hall Country House. The wedding day was a relaxed affair from start to finish. Formal pictures were taken at various locations around the gardens. One of my favourite pictures was of the newly weds exchanging wedding rings.
