If you don’t fancy a church wedding and would prefer a civil ceremony there are some marvellous hotels in the village including The Wordsworth Hotel & Spa, Rothay Garden Hotel and The Daffodil Hotel & Spa. Alternativily, you could still have a church wedding. Then have your wedding reception at one of the wonderful local hotels.

The Wordsworth Hotel & Spa is a 4 star hotel with a country house feel to it that offers a lovely mix of warm hospitality, award wining food and beautifully appointed surroundings.

Rothay Garden Hotel is one of the newest contemporary 4 star hotels in the area and is nestled in 2 acres of gardens on the edge of the village. It offers all manner of accommodation.

Daffodil Hotel & Spa

The Daffodil Hotel & Spa is another 4 star hotel offering a warm and friendly welcome. In recent years it has had a significant redevelopment and reopened in July 2012. It’s water side setting is wonderful.
