WCSSG MEETING PHOTOGRAPHY
Stakeholder meeting photographer. This week found us photographing a WCSSG meeting for Sellafield Limited in West Cumbria. We are Sellafields’s commercial photographer of choice. What do we do? Well, Graeme Cameron Photography has worked for several years with many of the big nuclear companies and agencies across the North West. Sellafield Limited is just one of the companies we work for. Graeme Cameron Photography provides event photography, VIP visit coverage, seminars, specialist photography, training, advice and consultancy. It’s been busy for many years with several of our biggest nuclear customers. That’s just how we like it. Professional commercial photography is very much ‘our thing’.
WHO ARE WCSSG
West Cumbria Sites Stakeholder Group, WCSSG, is an independent body whose role is to provide public scrutiny of the nuclear industry in West Cumbria.
The WCSSG was originally formed to replace the Sellafield Local Liaison Committee (SLLC). The change reflected the fact that there were several nuclear licensed sites in the area and was intended to emphasise the importance of engagement with the community, encouraging inout in discussions and consultations from all stakeholders. The organisation and ownership of sites has since changed and the WCSSG has changed to correspond, with re-organisation of its sub-committees, but the aim remains the same.
What is Sellafield? Sellafield Ltd is a nuclear decommissioning Site Licence Company controlled by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. A government body set up specifically to deal with the nuclear legacy under the Energy Act 2004. Click on the link to learn more about Sellafield Limited.
