Another big Lake District wedding in Cumbria ! The morning started with brides prep wedding pictures in Windermere where it was good to meet up with Helen again. The wedding ceremony was at Mater Amabilis Church, Ambleside surrounded by the lake district mountains. For their wedding car the bride and groom had borrowed a Morgan sports car. It was a lovely day so their drive over Kirkstone Pass was with the top down. We took the opportunity to take some location photos of the happy couple on Kirkstone Pass with Lake Windermere as a stunning backdrop. It was then off to Glenridding to The Inn on the Lake for the wedding breakfast. The weather continued to be kind and the lighting was perfect for more pictures on the jetty at Ullswater. The evenings events include a ceilidh which was enthusiastically enjoyed by all !! It was great to be able to capture all the special moments both formal and informal from the bride and grooms wedding day.
