Looking for a wedding venue with bags of character then have a look at Moresby Hall. One of Cumbria’s most historic homes it is a Grade I listed building (circa 1620) offering stunning Country Guesthouse accommodation and retaining so many original features. Moresby Hall is one of the oldest properties in Cumbria yet is one of the newest to become a licensed venue for small civil weddings and civil partnership ceremonies. The first floor “Fletcher” suite is situated at the front of the Hall overlooking the walled gardens and can seat upto 40 guests. It has high ceilings, chandeliers, bespoke Brinton’s carpet and a very calming ambiance. The Orangerie is the newest facility available for smaller Wedding or Civil Partnership Ceremonies. The Hall and walled gardens are great for wedding photographs and we always enjoy being the official wedding photographers at Moresby Hall.
