The Langdale Chase is a truly magnificent country house hotel, which commands panoramic and inspirational views of Lake Windermere and mountains from the seclusion of its own wooded grounds. From the brides prep pictures in the morning through to the wedding breakfast in the late afternoon Mark & Karen were great fun. The lake district gave us a sample of every type of weather including an impromptu lightning strike during the civil ceremony !!! I could not believe how well the weather picked up. We had the most glorious sunshine and perfect light for Mark & Karen’s formal wedding photographs on the jetty on the shore of Windermere. The Langdales made a perfect backdrop for the wedding pictures. Everyone was great to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed taking further photos during the wedding breakfast and speeches. The Langdale Chase is an excellent wedding venue. It is great being a professional wedding photographer in the lake district.
