Great to be doing commercial photography for the international company, Holmen Iggesund. I had never realised just how big the facility was at Workington. The buildings are huge. Something you don’t appreciate until you are in them. Everything is on a large scale. An impressive facility !
The Workington Mill manufactures folding box board. Called FBB for short. A highly technical advanced process. Incada, the paperboard produced at Holmen Iggesund’s Workington Mill is of the highest quality. As a result, it holds a prominent position in the market.
WORLD CLASS MILL IN WORKINGTON
Workington Mill is an integrated pulp and paperboard mill. It has been powered entirely by fossil carbon-free bioenergy since 2013.
BIOENERGY
In 2013 a biomass boiler was incorporated at Workington mill. The mill is now carbon neutral. Powered 100% on bio-energy.
