CUMBRIA KART RACING
Cumbria Kart Racing. Last weekend was the December LGK IKR Event at Rowrah. The conditions were challenging for both the drivers and me as the official photographer. Showers persisted throughout Sunday making the track slippy. The light levels were through the floor at times. The standing rain water added drama for both the drivers and photographer. Plenty of spray. The IKR meeting is a great event. The circuit is superb. The Rowrah Lakeland Circuit really is one of the best in the United Kingdom. A super weekend of competitive racing.
O PLATE CHAMPIONSHIP
Lewis Smith dominated the weekend. Qualified in P1, heat 1 finished P1, heat 2 finished P1 and finished 1st in the final. So, Lewis Smith won the O Plate Championship 2024.
