British GT Championship

Oulton Park

We loved attending the British GT Championship last year at Oulton Park. We enjoyed it so much we went back again this year on the May Bank Holliday for another exciting day of racing. The Oulton Park Racing Circuit is a great place to photograph monstorous GT racers, including Aston Martins, McLarens, Bentleys, Lamborghinis, BMWs etc. The weather and track were perfect for some serious wheel to wheel action.

Canon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.5 L IS USM professional lens

This year we used our heavy weight Canon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.5 L IS USM professional lens to capture the action. It’s really heavy and you know when you have been hand holding it all day with no tripod but what a great lens and well worth the effort when you see the pictures.

British GT Championship Photography

We spent the Bank Holliday weekend at Oulton Park in Cheshire photographing the British GT Championship. A full day on Saturday and a full day on Monday ensured we captured all of the action.

Brilliant couple of days

What can I say about the weather, it was good at time but generally the light was ‘flat’. We had to work hard making sure we moved around the Oulton Park Circuit to ensure we captured a variety of photographs.
